Tournament Coach's Poll

With only 13 hours left until the tournament, everyone's wondering who is going to win it all. Well who better to ask then the coaches? Probably anyone but I did it anyway and here are their picks (well from 8 of the 18 coaches):

Most Likely to Win it All?
1) The Situation (5 of 8 first place votes) - It's no surprise to find the two time Wentworth Trophy posessors here. They finished off the season with a win over Sneak Attack and are 2-0-1 versus the top 4 ranked teams in the Coach's Poll. They open up against the winner of Fireballs and Breaking Brad. A possible rematch against Sneak Attack looms in the semi-finals.
2) Sneak Attack (2) - A forfeit against Recess Rejects in October dropped Sneak Attack to the fifth seed. However, they played Situation tight on Wednesday (losing 2-1) and are hoping for a rematch in the semi-finals. They face the usually formidable but currently injury-plagued Ballsagna to open the playoffs. Surviving the Silent Killer's wrath would earn them a quarterfinals match-up against Rumspringa.
3) Heads (1) - Situation has never lost in VA Peninsula history and only tied four times - one of those time to The Heads. That likely is why the Heads rank higher than the Hammers despite losing to them on Wednesday (although a first place vote from someone who possibly is rooting for The Heads to win it all could also help). The Heads open up against The Chaotic Kilfs with a possible rematch against The Hammers in the semi-finals.
4) Hammers - Honestly the four teams listed were the four teams most people would have picked at the beginning of the season. Why aren't the Hammers higher? Likely because they might have to play the Foul Balls in the quarterfinals; I'm actually not sure why they are ranked this high with such a tough road to the finals. They open up against the winner of Kick in a Box & Resting Pitch Face

Sleeper Pick?
Boom! To quote someone with experience winning the Wentworth Trophy "If they have their A game going, they can beat Heads and Hammers on the way to the finals." Of course that's if they win their play-off opener against Hot Dogs and Tacos led by the horribly dressed Jeremy Smithey (Vote Victoria Davis - Best Dressed!!!).

Upset Special?
Foul Balls over Kick Pitches, Get Money (6 votes)
Recess Rejects over Rumspringa (1 vote)
Interventions over Kilfs 2 (1 vote)

Have fun tomorrow, dressed warm, fill out your brackets and give/send them to me, and remember Gosnold's Hope Park!!!
