Smokin Bunts Score First Dub

    I'm going to have to give George Kiriazidis the credit for the title of this blog.  Being a member of the GDC (Greek Drug Cartel) he would know a thing or two about dubs...
     Speaking of dubs, the Smokin Bunts crew got their first "W" last week against Eat My Short Kick in a close 2-0 battle. And speaking of firsts (I'm on a roll here...) Andrew Schlichte made the first bunt home run of the season in this game! The over throw to first gained him advancement to second and no one held their hands up for a dead ball so he kept running and BOOM! He was the second run in for the evening. Karen "Silent Killer" Savell (3rd person alert!) bunted and got to second on an overthrow to first, then Shane Chambers kicked her in with another overthrow double to score the first run of the evening.  Time out for an action photo:

     Oops!  That's not an action photo. Nice logo though...Attention all kickball paparazzi people: Where you at?!  Your snappin' makes me look good, so hop to it!  K, thanks, bye.

     Ed Aaron made a highlight play at 1st with one out and a Short Kick runner on 1st. A line drive kick was made straight to Ed's feet and it bounced into his hands.  The 1st base runner wasn't sure if he caught it or not and stayed near 1st where Ed tagged him, then Ed promptly stepped on 1st base to get the kicker out as well.  The Short Kickers paid us back though, as their charger made a wicked fake throw to 1st and caught Ed off 3rd base where he was swiftly tagged in the back.  John Vrooman saw that the ball bounced towards the wall and thought he could get to third in time, but they threw it back into play and he got tagged in the hand before he could touch the base.

 Whoa, whoa, hold up!! We simply MUST talk about "Max" Adam Kutsch.  He kicked a beautiful triple bunt this game and I'll tell you how.  It was a freaking Matrix move between 1st and 2nd.  He rounded 1st and saw the pitcher thorwing it to him for the tag but he made this sick back-bend-Neo-Matrix style move to avoid being hit in the beard, then he gunned it to third for an easy triple!  He shall  hereforthto be known as "Matrix Max". Very COOL!

     So Smokin Bunts came out victorious and lots of us headed to Luckies to get smashed and stuff.  And now a word from our sponsors:
