Hello there Peninsula!
This is my first time I have EVER written a blog but I will try my best here just to lighten the load on Brad and to help out when I can here. Again if you are interested or were super inspired by my awesome post please let me know and we can get you added as the Bar Buzz Leader! So here we go.
Some of my Favorite posts were when Keith Morehart related all the teams to some random topic each week so I will try and give it justice. Now I would like to point out that I can not make it out to the bar until about 10 because I have to clean up the fields. I know some are there earlier but I hope I get to see some of you out there every so often even if you can not stay until midnight. All the numbers you see were based on the AMP so if you were there earlier I did not forget you!
SO this week I think I am gonna relate it to some of my favorite TV Shows!
So lets start with one of the all time greats
- I know I grew up with this show. I learned a lot of life lessons and anytime it is on you can bet that I am watching it.
-The down side to it is that it is never one anymore! Ever since ABC family became Freeform (Whats up with that new name anyway?) I have not seen it regularly anymore.
-Just like the show I don't see many members of the team at the bar. But just like this show I will be happy to see them once they are out there.
Next up is one of my newer favorites:
- No strangers to the bar but still newer team compared to others. I know this team is always out there as a large group but by the time I make it out there most of the teams have ran out faster then our favorite speedster! I hope they can last a little longer to say hi to at the bar!
Their captain did give a shout out to their 2 members that did last until the AMP.

DCOMs (Disney Channel Original Movies) (PLAN B)
Yes I know this may bring back some great memories for you all. But the only time you will ever see them is at 2 in the morning after a long night. But that is ok since that is when the members of PLAN B, Casey and Shane usually leave the bar. They may be the only 2 but they will ALWAYS be there.
I use this show since I guess the rest of the teams are always in hiding or on special missions as the bosses of the leagues (Liza, Curtis, and Brent) were the ones that were out there for the longest. (Shout out to Mike Ottman for being there for quite a while too but couldn't make the AMP)
Dual Survival (PBJT/JFK)
Both teams only had 2 people the whole night for what I saw and they were primarily outside for what I can remember but I did see them inside every so often taking on Giant Jenga challenges or dancing on the floor. I even saw a few looking around for food and water (By that I just mean drinking beer but go you all!)
Dancing with the stars (Forcing 3rd Base)
Always a fun time watching this show and thinking yea I can do that dance and then being very wrong after 1 dance lesson. Just like the only member of F3B I saw, I thought I could dance but she put me to shame on that dance floor and there is video evidence to prove it on the page.
What can I say about this teams only member at the bar Paola that you all dont already know? She always seems to be the only one that is there by the end of the night. Did she vote everyone else off of the island?
Price Is Right (Last weeks winners: Garage Party)
- The team that one last week definitly came out early as the pictures showed at the bar to get the belt but after that I don't know what happened. I didn't even get to see the belt at the bar. So just like this show, I can not get home in time to actually see it after work :'( Hopefully this week it will change!
Now let's talk about the top 2 teams last week.
2nd place
How I met Your mother ( Corndogs and Soft tacos)
-Easily one of my all time favorite shows!
Members on this team are always at the bar just like on TV and you can always find it playing on some channel, although they have a lot of new players. They were only beaten out by the first place team b/c the other completed the bar challenge a little more then this one. But keep up the hard work!
And Brad Gault keep playing have you met me, obviously it works!

Tv show: The magiciansJust like the new team this new show for me is a favorite of mine. They had a good showing at the AMP but with Kat taken all those team pictures and making some comments on them it edged her just ahead of the 2nd place team. But just like in the show the team did seem to disappear like they are all travelers! Maybe the belt will hold them to this world a little later tonight as well. Congrats to Baby Got Bunts.
Challenge this week:
Get a picture with as many different Captains as you can at the bar! I did not see that many of our fearless leaders out there last week so lets see who can get the closest to the full 14, bonus points for getting multiple captains in the same picture.
