Where will The Smooth Operator Play in the Spring?

Jeff and Zues, are free agents
this season.
With Victorious Secret not returning this spring, several players are left without a team headed into April. Among those free agents is "The Smooth Operator" Jeff White. Kickball pundits who cover the region are abuzz with speculation as to where White will sign (or maybe they're just buzzed). So far, Jeff has kept his plans G-14 classified, so we here are the VA Peninsula blog are going to break down the likely candidates for his coveted signature (with the help of a magic 8 ball).

Team: 5 O'Clockers
Why it Makes Sense: Jeff has played for Clockers dodgeball team in the offseason for each of the past two years. The Clockers have made it known that they are actively looking for players to help them get back to their former glory. White could potentially help the Clockers get back to the finals.
The Case Against It: Jeff's chatty social butterfly personality may not match the 5OC bad boy/girl image.
Magic 8 Ball Says: "My sources say no."

Team: Battlestar Ballsacktica
Why it Makes Sense: Jeff White is good friends with newly signed BB Mary Katherine Evans-Hogg. He could follow her onto the expansion Battlestar. They could probably use his experience on the squad, as Jeff has been a VA Peninsula kickballer for several seasons now.
The Case Against It: It's not clear if Jeff is looking to commit to a team that isn't a clear title contender right away.
Magic 8 Balls Says: "Reply hazy, Try again later."

Jeff spent a lot of his time
cheesing with trophies during
 his stint with the VIPs.
Team: The Emperors Club
Why it Makes Sense: Jeff played for the VIPs for two seasons, and won two Wentworth Trophies with the squad. With rumors indicating that The Emperors Club may have some personnel shakeups, will that open the door for a White/VIP reunion?
The Case Against It: When reached for comment, VIP Head Coach George "The Sex Monster" Kiriazidis said, "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!"
Magic 8 Balls Says: "Very doubtful."

Team: New Kickheads on the Block
Why it Makes Sense: NKotB showed themselves to be a very outgoing and fun group last season. With 1/2 the team going to Battlestar, they will need to fill the team, and Jeff could be a good fit for them.
The Case Against It: Signing Jeff White means facebook stalking among the team could increase by upwards to 300%. Will NKotB be willing to risk this?
Magic 8 Balls Says: "Don't count on it."

The Smooth Operator on 3rd base
during a recent NautSoJager game.
Team: Jagernauts
Why it Makes Sense: Jeff is currently playing with "NautSoJager" in the VA Recess league in Norfolk, which is a team comprised mostly of current members of the Jagernauts. It would not be out of the realm of possibilities for the 'Nauts to offer White a contract for Wednesday nights.
The Case Against It: Although, the Jagers have lost a few players this spring, they still have a large roster and may not be looking to add another outfielder.
Magic 8 Ball Says: "Outlook good."

Team: Just For Kicks
Why it Makes Sense: The way things are looking, JFK will be in the market for some experienced kickballers to fill out their roster to replace many of their defections. Jeff previously played with JFK veteran Ashley Williams on the Perpetual Motion Squad a few years ago, and they remain good friends. Jeff also loves flying in Head Coach Bryan Freed's Cessna, so an offer of a free ride might be enough to seal the deal.
The Case Against It: Will White commit to a team that has so many question marks on their roster?
Magic 8 Ball Says: "Cannot predict now."

Team: Vicious and Delicious
Why it Makes Sense: One of the founders of VD is White's current roommate and BFF Chris "Bundy" LeBlanc. Jeff previously played on ViDF in the VA Southside league, which was captained by VD Head Coach Dave Dixon. With ties to both players, it'd be natural to see Jeff White wearing white VD shirts this season.
The Case Against It: Jeff has struggled to fit in on super-competitive squads in the past, and from some of the names being rumored to come on with VD, it looks like this is going to be one serious group of kickballers.
Magic 8 Ball Says: "Signs point to yes."

So, there you have it kickball fans. According to my magic 8 ball, Jeff White will be wearing a Vicious and Delicious uniform next season! What do you think? Sound off in the comments with your predictions!

(Whatever the decision, let's hope that Jeff does announce it live on video like he did last season.)
