Jones Speaks Out About Move to Moose Knuckles

HAMPTON, VA - Over the weekend, it was reported that Jesse Jones has signed a deal to leave The Emperors Club and play the Spring 2011 season for the newly formed Moose Knuckles. On Sunday night, Jones spoke out about his decision to join Nick Anderson and Jiselle Decker's squad.

"Since the VIPs couldn't meet my demands," Jones stated, "I had to bring my talents to an expansion team. Time to put them on the WAKA Peninsula map."

Jones is best known for his clutch performance in the League Championship Finals. He drove in 3 runs, including the tying and winning runs, and lead The Emperors Club to their 4th Wentworth Trophy.

"Looking back at my time with the VIPs, holding the Wentworth Trophy is the 2nd greatest feeling," Jones went on, "Next to becoming a man on prom night."

When asked whether he was looking forward to playing against his former team, Jones said, "Yup. Gotta show them I can now bunt after spending countless hours on the practice field with my two goddesses." (Marilee Columbus and Amanda Beierle are also joining Jesse Jones with MK. Look for a feature interview with this pair soon.)

Will Jesse Jones and the Moose Knuckles be able to make a run at the prestigious Wentworth Trophy? Less than 30 days until the kick off of the season and we find out!
