It's almost time! Soon the days will start to get a little longer and the weather will begin to warm up. That can only mean one thing... SPRING KICKBALL IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER!!!
We're going to be kicking off the season on April 4th at War Memorial. But we're inviting you to join us the week before, March 28th for a VA Peninsula Meet N Greet / Schedule Release Party at UNO CHICAGO GRILL in Yorktown!
Thanks to Melissa Rarick, 15-20% of all of UNO's proceeds from our checks will go to our Relay For Life Team: "WAKA Kicks Cancer"! So not only will you get to enjoy a few drinks and some good food while hanging out with fellow 'ballers, but you'll be helping to kick cancer's ass!
** There will be vouchers that we will be printing out and providing prior to the event to ensure we get the charity donation with your meal/drinks. More details to come.**
During the Meet N Greet, we'll also be unveiling the Spring 2012 VA Peninsula schedule! If you want to be among the first to see who you're playing, don't miss out!
PLUS for returning players, wear any WAKA shirt from previous seasons (unless you've torn it up and it barely covers your chest. NoShoes, I'm looking at you...) and you'll be entered into a drawing for various WAKA door prizes!
This Spring season is going to be an EPIC one! Please be sure to come kick it off in style!
