Balls & Dolls Post-Tourney Wrapup

What a week! Thank you to everyone who slogged through the mud with us on Saturday. It was an awesome day of kickball and certainly a new experience for many of us. Together, we raised over $2,000 to fight cancer, and that's the most important thing.

Who am I kidding? The most important thing was the games! And there were some great ones! Congratulations to our champions, ISH (women's division) and THE SCRUBZ (men's division). Both teams played outstanding and deserve the medals.

Brad Kirby was out with his camera and took a ton of fantastic pics. In fact, I think this album might contain the most Facebook profile photos of any album we've ever posted. Well done, Brad. Thank you for documenting all of our non-coed shenanigans yesterday!

Big thanks to everyone who reffed this weekend, especially our volunteers, Jeremy Smithey, Mike Ottman, Rich Sharp, and James Maxlow. They gave up their Saturday to help support the event, and I'm super grateful for their help.

After the games, we had a great turnout at County Grill. Thank you to everyone who came out and socialized and a shout-out to the County Grill staff for taking excellent care of us!

We hope you all enjoyed playing. We're going to go ahead and pencil in March 31st, 2018 for the VA Balls & Dolls II. But you don't have wait until then to join us. In fact, we have another great co-ed charity tournament coming up on May 6th in Virginia Beach. Registration is open now! For a full list of our spring leagues and one-day events, please visit kickball.com/hamptonroads.

Thank you all once again for making this a very fun and successful day of kickball for a great cause!
